FAQ
How do I book a portrait session?
Submit an inquiry through my contact form and I’ll respond with availability, answer questions, and help plan your session. A deposit is required to officially reserve your date.
How far in advance should I book?
Most portrait sessions are booked 4–6 weeks in advance. Engagement, elopement, and wedding coverage is often booked several months ahead, if not longer.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place outdoors, in-home, or at locations meaningful to you. I’m happy to recommend locations based on your vision, comfort level, and lighting preferences.
What if we feel awkward or don’t know how to pose?
That’s completely normal. Sessions are guided using prompts, movement, and natural interaction rather than stiff posing (Ok maybe a few for grandma). You don’t need any modeling experience — my approach is designed to help you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Can we include pets, props, or activities?
Absolutely. Including meaningful elements often helps sessions feel more natural and personal. I’m always happy to help plan ideas that fit your story.
How long does it take to receive photos?
Portrait galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. Engagement, elopement, and wedding galleries are typically delivered within 4–6 weeks. Rush delivery is available as an add-on.

Portrait sessions include personal-use rights. This allows you to download, print, and share your images for personal use, including social media and personal printing.
Commercial or promotional use — including brand marketing, product promotion, or paid advertising — could require extended licensing. Custom licensing quotes are available upon request.
travel
Based in Washington State and available for travel throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Travel pricing is quoted individually depending on distance, session type, and logistics. Sessions outside the local area may include travel fees to cover mileage, lodging, or airfare when required.
Destination sessions and adventure-based sessions are always welcome.
